Hello Samsung team,

 

As a power user of your Galaxy Watch line (currently using Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra), I would like to suggest creating a native Samsung app or module (maybe via Good Lock) that enables advanced button remapping for every physical button on the watch.

We need:

- Single press / double press / triple press / long press mapping per button ( when possible )

- Ability to launch any installed app (not just system ones)

- Per-mode behavior (e.g. different mappings while screen is off, during workout, etc.)

 

Why? Power users want to access apps like:

- Shazam (quick music recognition)

- Google Translate (instant translation)

- Gemini or other AI apps (instant prompt)

- Voice Recorder

- Notes

- Flashlight

- Other useful 3rd party apps

... all from wrist, with just a simple button gesture.

 

This feature would massively improve productivity and unlock the potential of Wear OS beyond its current limitations. If necessary, add it as an Advanced Features toggle or inside a Good Lock module (like RegiStar for phones).

 

Thanks for considering this idea. Please make Galaxy Watches even more powerful!
