Can anyone tell me how often the security updates happen on the Galaxy watches?

Any word on when, or if, a security patch update will happen for Watch 5? Seems a little odd that tha watch stays behind the phones security which, theoretically, could open a security issue via watch to phone.

It's on a quarterly schedule so it gets updates every 2 or 3 months or so
